As a testament to the remarkable accomplishments of scouting’s highest achievers and in reverence to a history spanning over a century, Henry Repeating Arms is proud to offer this noteworthy tribute rifle in honor of America’s Eagle Scouts® built on the world-renown Big Boy platform.
Though beautiful enough to make a lasting impression without it, the genuine American walnut stocks are also embellished with fantastically detailed engravings painted in full color by hand. On the buttstock, the portrait of a bald eagle’s head makes another appearance above one of America’s most powerful symbolic images – a bald eagle soaring in full flight. The words, “ONCE AN EAGLE, Always an Eagle,” complete the buttstock design. The forearm of the rifle depicts different versions of the Eagle Scout badge throughout history, including the milestone Centennial version implemented in 2012.
For those inclined to take the rifle out to the range, this fully functional work of art will get you on target with a fully-adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight and brass bead front sight, a tube magazine capable of holding ten rounds of .44 Magnum or .44 Special, and a 20” blued steel octagon barrel. The receiver is even drilled and tapped for optional scope use.
